A former ArtsLink grantee, SPACES is an artist-run gallery that provides artists with the freedom to experiment with new processes and ideas. Mr. Papcún met with numerous artists, architects, professionals from major museums and universities as well as engineers, urban designers and councilmen. He gave presentations of his work at SPACES, the Czechoslovak Society for Arts and Sciences, and Miami and Kent State Universities, and prepared a new sculptural work that was exhibited at SPACES and a site-specific installation at an empty house and lot in Slavic Village, Cleveland. He also developed ideas for other projects and installations reflecting his experience in Cleveland.
