Portland Institute for Contemporary Art, a former ArtsLink grantee, is dedicated to presenting artists’ projects on the leading edge of contemporary art. Mr. Popović met numerous artists and arts professionals in Portland as well as in Seattle and San Francisco. He created a new installation, influenced by his experiences in Seattle and made from materials donated from people he had met, which was exhibited at PICA as well as at the Portland Art Center. In conjunction with the exhibitions, he gave a public lecture at PICA.
