Rusu, a curator at KSAK Center for Contemporary Art in Chisinau, is devoted to bridging the arts, culture and socio-political contexts of Central and Eastern Europe and Siberia, Central Asia and Mongolia. He has developed extensive projects throughout Europe, the Near East and Asia, with a focus on documentary and experimental film and video. Rusu wished to collaborate with experimental art spaces and gain an understanding of self-sustaining management models and curatorial practices in the US.
