Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, a former ArtsLink grantee, is a wide-reaching organization that serves as arts advocate, presenter, re-granter and arts service provider. Ms. Salieva met regularly with LMCC staff and was involved in the working process of the organization. LMCC organized over 40 meetings for her with arts and academic professionals from the Drawing Center, the Folk Art Museum, Bard College, the School of Visual Arts, Governor’s Island Open Studios, the Sculpture Center and many other organizations. She gave an interview on contemporary cultural issues in Central Asia which was broadcast on WPS1’s Art Radio show.
