Working in various media including drawing, installation and performance art, Selmani explores how political conflict, the built environment and natural habitat affect individual lives and social groups. In particular, he is interested in issues of identity and migration, which are critical in his home country. Selmani was looking forward to exchanging experiences with artists and community members and enriching his perception about contemporary art movements and political conditions in the US.
