The Arizona State University Art Museum serves a diverse community of artists and audiences through innovative programming that is both interdisciplinary and educational. Ms. Rubiku was introduced to numerous faculty and students at ASU as well as local artists and architects and individuals from Taliesin, Future Arts Research, the Phoenix Art Museum, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art and others. She worked with a graduate faculty member on a series of prints and, in collaboration with ASU students and members of the community, she created a new project, based on her impressions of Arizona, during daily workshops in the ASU Art Museum Americas Gallery. She also gave a public presentation of her work at ASU and exhibited a video installation at Taliesin West’s main theater space.
