Anastasia Skvortsova is a curator, educator and researcher. Her work is focused on public art, participatory practices, education, and ecology. She is leading a public program for upcoming Contemporary Art Triennale in the Eastern Balkans. Experimenting with formats and methods, Anastasia creates projects that encourage communities to meaningful dialogue and exchange through mediations, tours, and performances. Her experience includes running an independent art space Nepokorennie studio and leading teams of large-scale projects like Nova Art Contest for independent young artists. Anastasia presented her work across Russia and Europe curating shows and organizing workshops (Mediation school, Radiance Art Center, Apatity; The Goods of Time, Goethe Institute, Sofia). She received her MA in curatorial studies from St. Petersburg State University Liberal Arts and Sciences Faculty (joint program with Bard College, USA in St. Petersburg, Russia) in 2014. Originally from Russia, she is currently based in Bulgaria.
