Rochester Institute of Technology is consistently rated as one of the top universities for digital and stop motion animation. Mr. Saksida attended classes at RIT and exchanged ideas, approaches and skills with students and faculty there. He presented two screenings of his animated works at RIT and gave a demonstration of silicone casting techniques to students. In addition, he toured the George Eastman House and commercial and independent stop-motion studios in Toronto, Ontario, Boston and New York City. He was also able to visit major museums in these cities.
