During her residency, Olga was introduced to local choreographers and intermedia visual artists and was invited to participate in a multi-media event for the opening of the arts and technology festival of CAL(IT)2. She had an opportunity to meet University of California/San Diego professors and students and to attend lectures in the Visual Art, Theater, and Dance Departments. She also had access to the state-of-the-art technical equipment and resources of the UCSD CAL(IT)2 center, including an audio/video lab and new media arts spaces for research, production, exhibition and performance. A visit to the REDCAT Theater and Cornerstone Theater in Los Angeles was arranged for an opportunity to exchange with the Los Angeles community as well.
