Tatiana Kevorkova was born in the Primorsky region of Russia, on the south-eastern tip of the country, in 1983. She received her first degree in 2008 from the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music in Moscow, where she majored in choir directing. Tatiana has been performing with the ‘Classic’ choir of the International Foundation for the Unity of Orthodox Christian Nations since 2000. She has also been teaching music theory at a children's art school since 2003. In 2009 Tatiana enrolled in the Higher Courses of Screenwriting and Directing, joining the workshop of Oscar-winning director Vladimir Menshov. Spring (2009) is her directorial debut. She has also directed two other films: Sugar and One Love (2009). In addition to directing, Tatiana has experience as a theatre, film and voice actress and as a film score composer.
